क्या हमारी ज़िंदगी में सब कुछ पहले से तय है? विधि का विधान क्या है? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5I7QeUBeurY&t=241s आज विज्ञान और तर्क का युग है. भारत ने भी मंगल और चाँद तक पहुँचने में कामयाबी हासिल की है. इस दौर में जिसमें हर चीज को लॉजिक और रीजन की कसौटी पर कसा जा रहा है. अक्सर लोग पूछते हैं और हमारे मन में भी आता है की क्या हमारी जिंदगी में सब कुछ पहले से ही तय है? क्या सचमच सब कुछ विधि या विधाता ने लिख दिया है? इस बात को लेकर लोगों में बहुत कनफ्यूजन है. वास्तव में  “विधि” से तात्पर्य भाग्य से है और भाग्य व्यक्ति द्वारा पहले किये गये कर्मों से तय  होता है. हम जो भी अच्छा  या बुरा करते हैं उसी से हमारा फ्यूचर तय होता है. इस विषय को नहीं जानने वाले कुछ बुरा हो जाने पर वे कहते हैं कि ‘विधाता ने हमारे साथ बड़ा अन्याय किया’. विधि का अर्थ नियम या कानून भी होता है. दुनिया की हर चीज किसी नियम या विधि से ही चल रही है. अनेक तथाकथित बुद्धिजीवीइस बात की खिल्ली उड़ाते हुए कहते हैं कि यह तो भाग्यवादी धारणा है. वे कहते हैं कि इंसान अपनी किस्मत ख़ुद लिखता है. वे ऐसा "विधि' या भाग्य की अवधारण को न समझने के कारण कहते हैं. जब भाग्य का निर्धारण कर्म से ही होता है तो बात तो वही हुयी जो बुद्धिजीवी कह रहे हैं. बहरहाल,इतना जरूर है कि अगले ही पल क्या होने वाला है, यह कोई नहीं जानता. कौन जाने इस पल जिसे लाभ ही लाभ हो रहा है, उसे अगले ही पल कुछ नुकसान हो जाए. एक पल पहले हँसता -गाता मनुष्य अगले ही क्षण बेजान होकर मिट्टी बन जाए. चारों ओर से नेम और फेम बटोरता व्यक्ति कब बदनाम हो जाये.यह कोई नहीं कह सकता. राजा दशरथ तो श्री राम के राज्याभिषेक की तैयारी कर रहे थे. शुभ दिन, शुभ घड़ी और सारे मुहूर्त निकलवा कर ही राज्याभिषेक का समय निर्धारित किया गया था, लेकिन विधि का विधान यह था कि पुत्र से उनका विछोह हो और पुत्र के लिए तड़पते हुए वह प्राण त्यागें. यह उनके द्वारा श्रवण कुमार के माता-पिता का अनजाने में मारे जाने और उनके श्राप के कारण हुआ. इसी को विधि का विधान कहते हैं. हमारी लाइफ में अक्सर ऐसा होता है, जिसे हम नहीं समझ पाते. कोई व्यक्ति सड़क से उठकर राजमहल में पहुँच जाता है, तो कोई राजमहल से सड़क पर आ जाता है. कभी किसी को लोग इतना ऊँचा उठा देते हैं कि उसकी मूर्तियां तक लगा देते हैं. कभी उन मूर्तियों को तोड़ भी डालते हैं. अपनी सेहत और खूबसूरती पर नाज़ करने वाले बहुत बुरी हालत  में जाकर मर जाते हैं. हमारे पिछले कर्मों के अनुसार ही हमारे सु:ख-दु:ख, यश-अपयश और जीवन की अवधि तय होती है. जो लोग जीवन में सु:ख, धन-दौलत और मान पा रहे हैं, वे अक्सर इस पर घमंड करने लगते हैं. वे यह मानते हैं कि वे सदा ऐसे ही रहेंगे, लेकिन यह मुमकिन नहीं है. जिस दिन, जिस क्षण सु:ख भोग का वक्त ख़त्म हो जाएगा,उसके बाद दुनिया की कोई ताकत उसमें एक लम्हे का भी इजाफा नहीं कर सकता. इसी तरह, जो लोग जीवन में दु:ख और कष्ट उठा रहे हैं, उन्हें भी यह बात समझनी चाहिए कि यह उन्हीं के अपने कर्मों के कारण है. किसी दूसरे पर इसका इल्जाम नहीं मढ़ना चाहिए। यह भी समझ लेना चाहिए कि दु:ख और कष्ट हमेशा नहीं रहने वाले. सवाल उठता है कि अगर सब कुछ पहले से तय है, तो हमारे पुरुषार्थ की क्या अहमियत है? इसके बारे में संतों का मत है कि हालाकि जीवन में निन्यानवे बातें पहले किये गये कर्मों से होती हैं,लेकिन व्यक्ति के एक प्रतिशत कर्म के बल पर हालात को बदलने की स्वतंत्रता होती है। यह एक प्रतिशत स्वतंत्रता भी इतनी अनमोल है कि व्यक्ति पुरुषार्थ करके अपने लिए नये हालात बना सकती है. इससे यही सबक मिलता है कि हमें अपना कर्म पूरी निष्ठा से करते रहना चाहिए. कर्म का फल ज़रूर मिलता है. कर्मों को पकने में बारह वर्ष की अवधि का वर्णन शास्त्रों में पढ़ने में आता है. देखने में आता है कि कोई लोग बहुत बुरे कर्म करके भी बहुत सुख और आराम की जिन्दगी बिता रहे हैं, वहीं दूसरी तरफ अच्छे काम करने वाले लोग कष्ट भोग रहे हैं. इसमें पहले किये गये कर्मों के फल काम कर रहे होते हैं. आज बुरे काम करके कोई व्यक्ति सुख भोग रहा है, तो यह उसके द्वारा पहले किये गए अच्छे कर्मों का फल है. इनका संचय समाप्त होते ही उसके द्वारा वर्तमान में किये जा रहे बुरे कर्म पक कर बुरा फल देने लगेंगे. ठीक यही बात अच्छे कर्म करते हुए भी दु:ख उठाते व्यक्ति पर भी लागू होती है. संतों, शास्त्रों और विवेक का मत तो यह है कि व्यक्ति अपने द्वारा होने वाले कर्मों में कर्ता होने का भाव छोड़ दें तो अच्छे और बुरे कर्मों के परिणाम ही नहीं होंगे. वह इनसे आगे परम अवस्था में पहुंच जाएगा. बहरहाल, जो भी दु:ख या सुख, जीवन या मरण अथवा यश और अपयश मिल रहा है, उसे विधि का विधान अर्थात अपने ही अच्छे-बुरे कर्मों का फल मान कर भोगते रहे.  दुख आने पर विचलित न हों और सुख में ज्यादा फूलें नहीं. सनातन धर्म की कर्म-विधान अवधारणा विज्ञानसम्मत है.भौतिक विज्ञान अभी तक इसे नहीं अमझ पाया है, लेकिन इस विधान को मानने से हम अपनी  जिंदगी को ज्यादा positive बनाते हुए अच्छे कामों के जरिये अपना फ्यूचर बना सकते हैं.   Is Everything Preordained in Life? Often people ask if everything is really preordained in life?Do have nothing in our hands? There is lot of confusion on this issue. In fact, Providence orVidhata means fate and the fate is decided by our previous acts.Our future is decided by our good and bad actions.Those unaware of this law of Nature, blame it on the Providence when something untoward happens in their lives, saying the Providence has done injustice to them. Another meaning of Vidhi is law or rule. The universe is governed by some law. Some intellectuals ridicule and dismiss it as fatalism. They argue that man is the master of his destiny. In fact, they are ignorant about the concept of Vidhi or Providence. When fate or destiny is decided by our actions, then this is what the intellectuals seek to establish. However, nobody can predict what the very next movement has in store for us. Someone having a windfall may suddenly startincurring loss. A happy and merrymaking guy may drop dead any moment. Someone getting name and fame may earn a bad name any moment. Nobody knows. King Dashratha was preparing for anointment of his son Rama at the auspicious moment suggested by his astrologers;but destiny had it otherwise. Rama was exiled to the forests and Dashrath died a very painful death wailing and grieving for his son. This was the result of the accidental killing of the aged parents of Shravan Kumar at the hands of Dashrath and the curse uttered by the old couple. This is what is called the law of Providence. We are not able to understand or explain so many things in our life. Someone rises from rags to riches and the vice versa.Sometimes, people deify somebody and then revile and disparage them. They erect a statue of someone and then dismantle it. Sometimes, those in the pink of health and proud of their beautiful looks and physic die in a very pitiable condition. One gets happiness and sorrow, fame or defame as per their previous acts; and all this remains for a certain period of time as decided by previous karmas. Those rolling in money and commanding respect everywhere often become proud of it and erroneously think that it will last eternally. lasing. But it is not possible. Once the merits earned by them through their good deeds come to an end, no power in the world can help them. The same is the case with those suffering in life. They should not blame it on others. They must realize that it willalso come to an end. Now the question arises if everything is destined, then what is the role of our efforts and enterprise? According to the saints, 99 per cent of our life is preordained but one per cent is in our hands. However, the one per cent freedom is more than enough to alter the destiny and course of life. This also teaches us to be careful in all our actions. We should be honest and sincere in whatever we do.According to the scriptures, the karmas take minimum twelve years to give results. It is generally noticed that wicked fellow doing all types of evil deeds is leading a very happy life; while some other who is the very image of goodness and virtues is in a very miserable state. This is the result of their previous deeds. The time for their happiness and sorrow is decided by their actions.After this things will start changing for the worse or the better, as may be the case. The saints and scriptures opine that if we stop thinking that we are the doers, our actions would cease to bear fruits. We will attain an everlasting bliss and a high level of consciousness. We should, therefore, endure our present sufferings while maintaining equanimity and should not be elated in happiness. This Law of Destiny prescribed in the Sanatana Dharma is scientific.
